Welcome.
Thanks for visiting my web page!
I’m a writer, a poet, a reader, a mom, and a bunch of other exciting things. But these pages are devoted to my love of writing, especially writing for kids. And a special joy for writing and reading poetry – everybody needs poetry.
I write because putting words on paper for you — a reader — is the best thing I think I can do in the world. It’s hard and I learn more every single day.
I live in Wisconsin — maybe thirty minutes from Saint Paul, Minnesota with my two teens, my husband, and our two dogs.
I hope you’ll enjoy my writing experiments — and experiences!

Emmy in the Key of Code – Verse is the Only Way This Story Will Be Told
